Meryl Green Zalkin is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and has been a Licensed Real Estate professional since 1976. She grew up listening to stories her mother, Freda Green would relate of her experiences selling residential apts in NYC, accompanying her on showings, assisting Freda with preparation for the presentation of Deal of the Year Awards and learning the nuances of dealing with buyers, sellers and other professionals.
Her early professional background in Rent Stabilization, having been employed by the NYC Conciliation and Appeals Board, the administrative agency regulating Rent Stabilization, made for a keen understanding and appreciation for NYC residential properties, sales and rentals alike.
Meryl has been actively selling real estate for over 20 years. She is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and is an active member of numerous committees, including the SFC. Having sold and rented properties in all areas and price ranges throughout NYC, Meryl is well respected for her honesty, integrity and ethics, qualities she is most proud of.
When not selling or renting apts, Meryl enjoys theater, concerts, and all the culture one finds in the City and particularly loves walking the streets of NYC where the sights and sounds never disappoint. A resident of the UES, she has witnessed exciting changes in the neighborhood brought about by the addition of the Second Ave subway line, a proliferation of restaurants, bars and shops and the influx of new residents to the community.
